Helen L. Herbig, age 78 of Jasper died at 11:40 p.m. Saturday (March 12, 2011) in St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
She was born May 23, 1932 in Jasper to George and Mable (Taber) Klee. She married Donald L. Herbig on January 2, 1951. He preceded her in death on September 4, 1997.
Helen retired from Inwood Office Furniture Company in Jasper where she worked for many years.
She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
She enjoyed playing bingo and doing word puzzles and Crocheting.

2 daughters,

Mrs. Dan (Mary) Greenwood, Haysville, IN
2 sons,
Thomas Herbig, Jasper, IN
David Herbig, Ferdinand, IN
Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Marvin Virginia (Jeanne) Frick, Huntingburg, IN
Georgia Klee, Jasper, IN
Preceding her in death besides her husband was a daughter Diane Herbig and 2 grandsons also 1 sister, Carol Lee.
Funeral services for Helen L. Herbig will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (March 16, 2011) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday (March 15, 2011) at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
