MARIE E. JANSEN, 98, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, 11:25 p.m., at Saint Anne Home.
Born Dec. 13, 1911, in Dubois County, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Henry Brosmer and Elizabeth (Pieper) Brosmer.
She was a housewife. She was very active in and member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Surviving, are her son, Rudolf L. (Barbara) Jansen of Cincinnati, Ohio;
daughters, Shirley J. (John Bush) Peel of Seattle, Wash., Mary Lou Bienz of and Rita (Steven) King, both of Fort Wayne, and Bette Lynn (Larry) Lindley of Terre Haute; sister, Bernadine Mulligan of Milford, Ohio;
17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Fr. Cyril Fernandes officiating. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (December 18, 2010) in Fairview Cemetery, Jasper, Ind.
