Marie E. Pieper, age 86 died at 11:03 p.m. Saturday in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.
She was born at Ellsworth, Indiana on June 12, 1924 to John and Anna (Hasenour) Pieper.
Marie was a member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois and the St. Raphael’s Sodality and the Silver Age Club of Dubois.
She had worked for General Electric in Tell City, Indiana for 24 years and retired from Wabash Valley Produce in Dubois where she had worked for 20 years.

Preceding her in death besides her parents are brothers, Eugene Pieper and Edward and Victor Pieper both died in infancy.
Funeral services for Marie Pieper will be held at 11:00 a .m. Tuesday (September 21, 2010) in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery.
Friends may call 2 hour before services at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Raphael’s Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
