Esther E. August, age 81 of Jasper died at 4:10 p.m. Monday (August 2, 2010) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born on July 29, 1929 Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Frederick and Esther (Miller) Sutterlin. Married to Albert August February 1, 1951.
She graduated from the Bradford Hospital School of Nursing in Bradford Pennsylvania.
Esther August retired Obsterics RN. Worked at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper , St. Joseph Hospital and the Wirth Memorial Hospital at Oakland City.
She is a charter member of Redeemer Lutheran church in Jasper.

Memorial service for Esther E. August will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (August 5, 2010) in Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper the Rev. Gretchen Enoch will officiate.
