Emil L. Hopf, age 71, rural Jasper farmer died at 6:17 p.m. Thursday (June 24, 2010) in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana from injuries sustained in a farm accident on Tuesday (June 22, 2010).
He was born at Jasper, Indiana on April 23, 1939 to Edward and Catherine (Kluemper) Hopf. Married to Teresa Wessel on August 1, 1976 in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper.
Emil was a farmer and Logger and member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois. He also served in the Indiana National Guard.

Funeral services for Emil Hopf will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday ( June 28, 2010) in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois with entombment in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.
Friends may call from 11-8 p.m. Sunday at the Becher & Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
