Louis “Lou” Meneilly, age 71 of Jasper died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday (March 9, 2010) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 9, 1938 to Andrew and Dorothy (Geyer) Meneilly. He married Sharilyn Rice on September 2, 1961.

Lou Meneilly came to Jasper, Indiana in 1978 after working 16 years as an insurance commercial underwriter. He came to Jasper as a partner in the Krapf-Bartley Agency and is currently sole owner of ISU Krapf-Bartley, Inc.
Lou was a CPCU and ARM designee and recipient of the Don Quixote Lifetime Achievement Award.
He was a Past-President of Muncie Jaycees, Past President of the Jasper Kiwanis and served as treasurer of the Jasper Country Club Board for 1- years.
Private services were held at the Becher & Kluesner Funeral homes in Jasper with burial in Shiloh Cemetery.
