Catherine (Catty) E. Lagenour, age 84, Dubois, Indiana died at 2:30 a.m. today (Tuesday (October 6, 2009) in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.
She was born on June 12, 1925 at Dubois, Indiana to Edward and Ehrie (Nordhoff) Rasche. She married Clidis (Clyde) Lagenour on November 25, 1954, he preceded her in death on September 9, 1987.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are 2 brothers, Joe Rasche and another brother, Silas Rasche died while serving in WWII in 1943. Also 3 sisters, Marie Sermersheim, Lucille Rasche and Alma Blessinger.
Catty Lagenour was a Avon Representative for 47 years, and was a member of the Avon President’s Club.
She was a member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality. She served as a lector and was a past president of the Ladies sodality had served on the church council. She was a recipitant of the Brute Award of the Diocese of Evansville and served on the board of St. Vincent DePaul Society.
Funeral services for Catty Lagenour will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (October 8, 2009) in St. Raphael Catholic Church with burial to follow St. Raphael’s Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday (October 7, 2009) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
