Thomas R. Reckelhoff, age 58 of St. Anthony, Indiana died at 7:00 a.m. Saturday (August 30, 2008) at his home in St. Anthony.
He was born at St. Anthony, Indiana on June 13, 1950 to William and Stella (Merkley) Reckelhoff. Married to Rebecca Holst on October 19, 1974.
Tom worked for the Hasenour Motor Company in St. Anthony where he had worked for 37 years. He also served in the Indiana National Guard.
He was the 1st assistant to the fire chief and was a member of the St. Anthony volunteer fire department since 1974. He also was president of the board of directors for the fire department and past member of the board of trustees.
Tom was also a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the St. Anthony Community Center, past member of the St. Anthony Conservation Club and worked with the Boy Scouts Troop # 189 of St. Anthony.
Surviving is his wife Rebecca

Funeral services for Tom Reckelhoff will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (September 3, 2008) in St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday (September 2, 2008) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Indiana Volunteer Fireman Association District # 18 will hold a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
