Leo F. (Lee) Betz age 83 of Schnellville, Indiana died at 6:50 a.m. Sunday (March 30, 2008) at the Providence Home Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born at Schnellville, Indiana on October 14, 1924 to John and Arlina (Miller) Betz. Married to Alice Hopf on May 11, 1948 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntingburg, Indiana.
Leo Betz, WWII Army Veteran was a Farmer and Truck Driver in the Schnellville Community. 4-H Leader for 35 years and served on the board of Directors of the Dubois County Co-op and Director of the Soil and Water Conservation Association.
He is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the Church Choir . St. Vincent DePaul Society - Schnellville Community Club & Schnellville Conservation Club Cattleman Association.
Surviving is his wife Alice

Funeral services for Leo Betz will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (April 2, 2008) in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. St. Anthony American Legion Post # 493 will conduct Military Grave Side Rites.
Friends may call from noon 8 p.m. Tuesday (April 1, 2008) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church Cemetery Fund.
