Margaret E. Knies age 99 of Celestine, Indiana died at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday (October 3, 2007) at the Waters of Huntingburg, Indiana.
She was born on May 13, 1908 at Celestine, Indiana to Herman and Elizabeth (Stein) Humbert – she married Theodore Knies on September 25, 1928 –he preceded her in death on November 21, 1970.
Margaret was a homemaker and member of St. Celestine Catholic Church – St. Ann’s Sodality – Celestine Community Club.

Preceding her in death besides her husand is 1 brother, Leo Humbert and 3 sisters, Anna Theising, Catherine Knies and Mayme Theising.
Funeral services for Margaret E. Knies will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday (October 6, 2007) in St. Celestine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Celestine Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 Friday (October 5, 2007) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Celestine Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
