Calista M. (Sunny) Kunkel age 91 of Jasper died at 10:10 p.m. Thursday (September 20, 2007) at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
She was born in Jasper, Indiana on January 23, 1916 to Edward and Theresia (Reyling) Schroeder. She married Marvin P. Kunkel on September 11, 1941, he preceded her in death on November 26, 2000.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church – St. Ann’s Society.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing and was an avid bingo player.

Funeral services for Calista Kunkel will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday (September 24, 2007) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Sunday by the St. Ann’s Society.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
