Raymond G. Jochim age 92 of Jasper died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday (August 8, 2007) in the Providence Home Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born on August 27, 1914 at Mariah Hill, Indiana to Anton and Wilhelmina (Hollander) Jochim.
He was employed by Burger Homestead Farms, Inc. from the age of 21 until his retirement.
He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper and the Holy Name Society – Jasper Knight of Columbus and the Senior citizens Club.
Surviving are;
His caregiver, Margaret Kuczynski, Jasper, IN
1 brother, Clements Jochim, Huntingburg, IN
Also several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death is 1 sister, Sr. Florine Jochim OSB and 1 brother, Oliver Jochim.
Funeral services for Raymond Jochim will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (August 11, 2007) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Mary Help of Christian Church Cemetery in Mariah Hill, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday (August 10, 2007) at the Becher – Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the Providence Home Health Care Center in Jasper.
