In the late 1900's, Bartlett brothers, O.J. "Bill" and Bruce, began a service to the residents of the Kanawha Valley in St. Albans, WV. Bartlett Funeral Home was established in a small store front in St. Albans to handle the funeral needs of the Kanawha Valley. In the early 1950's Tom Taylor and his wife, Helen, assumed ownership and continued to provide the Kanawha Valley with the same professional service as the Bartlett brothers.
In 1979, John W. Chapman, III and his wife, Debra assumed ownership of the Bartlett Funeral Home and in September, 1992 dedicated a new facility to the community. Designed on one level, this facility offers complete and easy access to all areas of the funeral home for all of our guests. Our spacious chapels offer comfortable seating for any size congregation and ample parking is provided. We invite you to visit our facility.
