Michael Wayne Foster, 35, of San Diego CA, formerly of Winfield, suddenly passed away August 9, 2012 in Winfield. Mike was born the only son to Jerry and Rebecca Graley Foster on March 17, 1977 in Charleston WV. Mike was a former 10 year member of the Teays Valley Fire Department, where he also served as a Fire Marshal. He was a former Director of the Putnam County Fire Investigation Team. He was also co-owner of Federated Investigations Service, Corp for 6 years and a nationally certified Fire Investigator by 3 organizations and served on the board of directors of the IAAI West Virginia Chapter, a fire investigator for many other cities with the qualifications of CFI and CEFI. Mike was also a member of Scary Creek Church of God. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Emory and Margaret Grayley, paternal grandfather Merwin H. Foster, grandparents Mazie and Londis Reveal and infant sister Jerri Michelle Foster. In addition to his parents Mike is survived by his wife Juliane Ranson Foster of San Diego CA, sister Jessica Foster and her daughter Mikenzie Foster both of St. Albans, his paternal grandmother Dorothy Foster of Cedar Grove, his mother and father in-law, Jimmy and Joyce Ranson of Scott Depot. Funeral service for Mike will be 7:00pm Monday at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane with Rev. Gary Hale officiating. Friends and family may visit from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
