Terry "The Eagle" Garris, 54 of North Vernon, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 1:30pm at his home.
Terry was a former Truck Driver and enjoyed fishing, hunting, carpentry, woodworking, gardening and being with his dogs.
The funeral will be conducted at 1pm Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Revs. Steve Allman and Tony Garris officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11am to time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Terry M. Garris Memorial Fund through the funeral home.

He was born in Columbus on November 29, 1957 the son of Albert M. and Dorothy M. Jaggers Garris.
Survivors include his mother Dorothy M. Garris and step father Tim Fields both of Columbus, children Shawn (Carissa) Garris of Greensburg, KY and Jennifer Garris of Columbus, brothers Tony (Jill) Garris of Elizabethtown and Curtis (Paula) Garris of Columbus, grandchildren Jericka Sholty of Indianapolis, Colin Shipley of Columbus and Penny Garris of KY, his wife Aline Garris of North Vernon and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert Garris and grandparents Orville & Olga Jaggers and Henry & Katherine Garris.
