Online Memorials

To send a note to the family, complete the form below.

I was one of Mrs. Ridenour's students in the second grade at Taylorsville Elementary about thirty years ago. She was a great teacher who was very tough on us,but we learned from her at the same time. She will be missed, I will keep the family in my prayers.

To Lois's family, I offer my sympathies on the loss of a lovely lady. I knew her only in my childhood, losing contact after I moved from Columbus, but I have vivid and very fond memories of her. Her father, Ben Beam, worked at our family hardware store, and to me he was "Uncle Ben." Lois was always very kind to me.

I met Mrs. Ridenour during my stay at Four Seasons, she was a sweet lady and will be missed.

I was one of Mrs. Ridenour's students when she taught the split 3rd/4th grade class at McDowell school in Columbus in the 1960's. She was an inspiration to me and I will always remember her. I will keep her and her family in my prayers.
