NEVADA – James Robert Richardson, 70, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at his home in Nevada, Iowa. The body has been cremated and no services are planned.
James was born at Grinnell, Iowa on June 26, 1938, the son of Robert and Myrtle (Bell) Williams. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Kay Harlan in 1964. She preceded him in death June 28, 2007. He was a commercial brick layer.
James is survived by his daughter: Karen Cline of Ames, Iowa; one brother: Mark Ogren of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister: Carolyn Helton of Adel, Iowa.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, and sister: Marilyn Hassett.
James enjoyed his daughter and her dog, Reggie.
Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
