| | | Murl LeVern Halverson, 89, of Nevada, Iowa, passed away March 9, 2009, at Doctor’s Hospital in Dallas, Texas of congestive heart failure.
Murl is survived by four children: Steve (Maradeth) Halverson of Nevada, Iowa; Barbara (Keith) Westercamp of Cedar Rapids; Craig (Colleen) Halverson of Dallas, Texas; Mary (Steve)Wettach of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister: Irene Alleman of Ankeny, Iowa; a brother-in-law: Howard Buckles of San Diego, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Esther; his parents; three sisters and one brother.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 21st at the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.
A Memorial Fund has been established at 1st National Bank in Ames
Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
