| | | Kenneth M. Johnson, 53, died October 11, 2008, at his home in Ames, Iowa. Services will be held at Bacon Funeral Home, Nevada on Saturday, October 18th at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM prior to the service.
Kenneth was born February 26, 1955 at Ames, Iowa, the son of Richard M. and Doris J. (Nixon) Johnson. He married Marianne Sowers in Colo, Iowa on April 11, 1981. Both he and his wife had worked at Donnelley Marketing in Nevada. He was employed by Hach Chemical.
Kenneth enjoyed horse racing, blackjack, cars and trucks.
He is survived by his wife, Marianne of Ames, Iowa; and son Brad Johnson of Nevada, Iowa; two brothers: Douglas Johnson of Nevada and Jeff Johnson of Conrad, Iowa; one sister: Sherry Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida; and one aunt, Carolyn (Bob) Strong of Jacksonville, Florida.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Dwight David Johnson and a brother, Terry Johnson.
Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
