Memorial Cards for an Infant's Funeral

What is the proper type of obituary or "memorial card" for a four-month old baby?

I'm not sure that there is a "proper" size in this particular situation. I know that a lot of firms tend to provide a smaller size folder due to the fact that there generally is not a lot of information that needs to be printed inside.

My firm uses a larger (8.5" x 11" folded) memorial card so that we have room for photos, poems, artwork, or other meaningful things that the family might want to include.

We also have a smaller folder available (about half the size of our standard folder) in case the family does not wish to include a lot of extra content. There really is no right or wrong in this situation; it's just a matter of individual preference. Most funeral homes should be able to provide at least two or three sizes to accommodate the family's request. -- Kevin Stockham
