Cremation Rate Statistics for the State of Nevada

Where can I find information about how many people are cremated versus buried in Las Vegas, Nevada each year?

The Cremation Association of North America publishes cremation statistics on a state-by-state basis, and posts these statistics on their website. According to the Association's website, Nevada is one of the top five states for cremation, with 56.82% of deaths resulting in cremation in 1999 (the most recent year for which statistics are available).

The report predicted that will rise to 57.87% in 2000, and to more than 65% by 2010. Sorry, but we weren't able to locate any statistics for individual cities. And keep in mind that many cremations are also buried--that may figure into the statistics! Hope that's helpful to you.--Ed.
