Burial of Cremated Remains |
|
|
I have my father-in-law's ashes, which we want to bury. Please, I need to know where to go and also the economic prices you have. Laws can vary from state to state so it is always prudent to check with someone in your town. The best answer I can give you is that in Nebraska cremation is final disposition of the body and public health does not have further requirements. If you want to bury on your own property there would be no cost. If you want to go to a cemetery you would need to ask them the cost of a cremation grave and opening and closing (burial) charge. At some cemeteries they also require the use of an urn or vault that would not be degradable. --Jon Roeder |
