How Long do Bodies Last After Being Embalmed |
|
|
How long do the bodies normally last after being embalmed? Do sealed caskets stay water free? Two very good questions. Remains will last for a long time if frozen, but at normal room temperature, the embalming should be done within as least eight hours. Please remember that modern embalming is done for santitation and comes with some prerservation. Sealed caskets, to use the terminolgy, are designed to keep what is outside from getting in and to let what is inside to decompose by itself. They are only as good as the maker. Hope this helps you. -- Jerrit L. Clayton |
