| | | Evelyn A. Belt, 79, of 309 S. Goodrich St., Newcomerstown, O., died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, in her residence.
She was born Sept. 25, 1930, at Newcomerstown to the late Dessie (Moore) Miller and the late Marshall Miller.
Evelyn was a Newcomerstown High School graduate. She was a housewife and enjoyed spending time with her family.
On April 18, 1949, she married Lloyd Belt, who died May 17, 1983.
Survivors include two sons, David Belt and wife Debbie and Steven Belt, all of Newcomerstown; three daughters, Alice Belt of Newcomerstown, Debbie Fechuch of Isleta, Teresa McCune and husband Scott of Newcomerstown; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lena Ross of Elyria, Thelma Watson of Newcomerstown.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Ed and Paul Miller and John Kelley; two sisters, Blanche Miller and Becky Freetage; daughter-in-law, Cindy Belt.
Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home at Newcomerstown on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, beginning at 1 p.m. Rev. Donald Silverthorne will officiate. Burial will take place in Everal's Cemetery at Newcomerstown, O.
Visitation will be held in Addy Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, from noon to 1 p.m.
