| | | Florence A. Cramlet, 95, of 1100 E. State Rd., Newcomerstown, O., formerly of Post Boy Rd., Newcomerstown, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in Union Hospital at Dover, O.
Born Oct. 30, 1913, in Lancaster, O., she was the daughter of the late Marie and James Richards. She was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School, was a housewife and assisted her husband, Frank Quillin, on the family farm. She was a Methodist by faith.
She was Sunday school superintendent in the 1940s at Peoples Church; she was a collector of antiques, especially dolls and furniture; and she lived life to the fullest, always keeping herself busy.
On Dec. 13, 1940, she married Frank Quillin, who died Sept. 29, 1979. Frank R. Cramlet, whom she married April 16, 1983, died Sept. 18, 1989.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Quillin of Newcomerstown and Jeff Quillin and companion Linda Helmick of Newcomerstown; two grandchildren, Melissa Quillin-Grignon (Rob) and Candace Quillin (Bill Skinner); and two great-grandchildren, Brice Shearer and Reed Skinner.
Three sisters, Margaret Browning, Geneva Salerno and Francis Fowler, preceded her in death.
Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, beginning at 11 a.m. in Addy Funeral Home at Newcomerstown with Rev. Roger Bourne officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery at Newcomerstown, O. Calling hours are Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Addy Funeral Home.
