| | | Mary C. Carpenter, 55, 14780 Rainbow Lake Rd., Newcomerstown, O., died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, in her residence.
She was born Feb. 5, 1954, at Marietta, O., to the late Cecil and Mary (Jacobs) Holiday.
A graduate of Marietta High School, Mary was a housewife.
On Aug. 13, 1977, she married Kim A. Carpenter, who survives. Survivors also include one son, Roy Carpenter of Newcomerstown; one daughter, Emmy Carpenter of Newcomerstown; one brother, Roger Holiday and wife Sue of Lowell, O.; three sisters, Linda Holiday of Sycamore Valley, O., Ada Offenberger and husband Dale of Whipple, O., Marion Block and husband Charles of Ebensburg, Pa.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Eugene Holiday, and two sisters, Hester Mae Leasure and Nancy Tidd.
Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, beginning at 1 p.m. Pastor Roger Bourne will officiate.
Burial will take place in West Lawn Cemetery at Newcomerstown, O. Visitation will be held in Addy Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, from noon to 1 p.m.
