Virginia was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed listening to her husband Max play music and singing. She loved being with family, friends, crocheting, cooking, canning, camping and traveling with Max across the U.S.
Due to declining health Virginia was a resident of Lafayette Pointe in West Lafayette, Ohio. She was brought home where she lived her last two weeks surrounded by family and friends. She was assisted at home by her loving family, Heartfelt Home Care and close family friend Angie Shepard. Although Virginia had Alzheimer’s disease it did not take all of her memories. She was very loving, caring and always smiling and hugging everyone she came in contact with until the end.
In lieu of flowers please donate in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, Sacred Heart Church or the American Cancer Society. Max and Virginia are both survivors of colon cancer. There will be a memorial mass at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Church in Coshocton.
