| | | Lucy M. Ferrell, 85, of 905 Beech St., Newcomerstown, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, in Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center at Cambridge, O.
Born Nov. 22, 1923, in Dennison, O., she was the daughter of the late Molly (Langdon) Parks and Emery Parks. She was a housewife and a member of Newcomerstown Church of the Nazarene.
On May 2, 1942, she married Johnson Ted Ferrell who died Oct. 3, 2000.
Surviving are three sons, Gary Ferrell and wife Judy of Uhrichsville, Gail Ferrell and wife Darlene of Newcomerstown, John Ferrell and wife Pat of Newcomerstown; three daughters, Coby Ann Ferrell of Newcomerstown, June Eckelberry of Newcomerstown, Janice Colvin of Cambridge; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, beginning at 11 a.m. in Addy Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover, O. Calling hours are Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
