| | | Lucille O. McMillen, 87, of 1100 E. State Rd., Newcomerstown, O., died Sunday, June 7, 2009, in Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center at Cambridge, O.
She was born Feb. 14, 1922, at Cambridge, O., to the late Mattie E. (White) Shryock and the late John B. Shryock.
She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ at Newcomerstown. She loved gardening, raising flowers, and attending auctions. She was a volunteer at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehab for many years.
On Nov. 1, 1941, she married Richard F. McMillen, who died April 17, 2008.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane Powell, Barbara Fyock and husband Jr., all of Newcomerstown; one son, Richard F. McMillen Jr. and wife Barbara of Riverview, Mich.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Labak of Washington and Norma Hannahs and husband Richard of Newcomerstown.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Spencer, Elsie Weaver and Garnet Hootman.
Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Thursday, June 11, 2009, beginning at 1 p.m. Greg Circle will officiate. Burial will take place in Fairfield Cemetery at West Lafayette, O. Visitation will be held in Addy Funeral Home on Thursday, June 11, 2009, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Online condolences may be left at the funeral home's Web site.
