| | | Charles O. Rexroad, 63, of 709 E. State St., Newcomerstown, O., went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 4, 2009, at his home.
He was born Nov. 24, 1945, in Uhrichsville and was a son of the late French and Caroline Stein Rexroad. He retired from Alsco Anaconda in Gnadenhutten, was a member of Light in the Valley Ministries at Newcomerstown and a life member of the NRA. He loved and enjoyed his family, friends, grandkids and church family.
On Oct. 24, 1964, he married Linda M. Walker Rex-road, who died March 8, 2009.
Surviving are two sons, Ed Rexroad and wife Tammy of Newcomerstown and Steve Rexroad and wife Chris of Akron; one daughter, Kelly Andrzejewski of Newcomerstown; son-in-law, Jim Conner and wife Jenn of Newcomerstown; 10 grandchildren, Hannah, Jessie, Alyson, Krystina, Lindsay, Jake, Kori, Wyatt, Emma, Audrie; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Tanner and Mason; one sister, Betty Mathias and husband Dick of Newcomerstown.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tamara Conner; one brother, Robert L. Rexroad; and one sister, Colleen Kail.
Services will be held in Addy Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, beginning at 8:30 p.m. with Rev. Okey Beam officiating. Visitation will be held in the funeral home Tuesday, April 7, 2009, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
