| | | N. Jayne Spring, 47, of 529 Barnett Ave., Newcomerstown, O., died Friday, March 27, 2009, surrounded by her family in Aultman Hospital at Canton.
Born April 20, 1961, in Dennison, she was a daughter of Sue (Kohl) Neal of Newcomerstown and the late Russell A. Neal. She was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School Class of 1979. She worked as a bookkeeper for Eureka Hardware, Bowman's Sportwear and Eagle Hardwoods; she also was employed by Newcomerstown schools. She attended Newcomerstown Church of the Nazarene.
She married her husband, David L. Spring, who survives, on July 7, 1979. She was a devoted loving wife, mother and grandmother and also is survived by one daughter, Nicole Spring, who is with the U.S. Navy stationed in Africa; one son, Bryan G. Spring of Newcomerstown; one grandson, Zander A. Spring; one sister, Susan Elaine Bliss of Kimbolton; two brothers, Verland Thayne Neal and wife Beth of Kimbolton and Russell Duane Neal and wife Misty of Newcomerstown; father- and mother-in-law, Alvin and Hazel Spring of Canton; sister-in-law, Lona (Jim) Chaney of Tippecanoe; brother-in-law, Mike Spring of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Selvanus and Gladys Kohl and Robert and Mildred Fife.
Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery at Newcomerstown, O. Calling hours are Monday, March 30, 2009, from 5 to 8 p.m.
