| | | Laura F. Shalosky, 68, of 5458 E. State Rd., Newcomerstown, O., died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center at Coshocton, O.
She was born Feb. 27, 1941, at Bellville, O., to the late Francie (Pittman) Brandon and the late James Matthew Brandon. She was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School.
Laura was a housewife and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose No. 1337 of Newcomerstown and Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include five sons, David Shalosky and wife Lynda, Vaughn Shalosky and wife Stephanie, Travis Shalosky and Gregg Shalosky, all of Newcomerstown, Randall Shalosky and wife Thelma of Coshocton; two daughters, Therese Hampton and husband Todd, Lorinda Kinsey and husband Dan, all of Newcomerstown; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, James Brandon and wife Marnie of Newcomerstown; one sister, Edna Colvin of Cambridge.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Harry, Floyd, Arthur, Stanley and Frank Brandon; and three sisters, Thelma Phillips, Gladys Phillips, and Donna Lee Brandon.
Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2009, beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rob Bladen officiating. Burial will take place in Bethel Cemetery (Guernsey County) at Newcomerstown, O. Visitation will be held in Addy Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2009, from noon to 2 p.m.
