Mary K. Beal, 87, of 74794 Beal Rd., Kimbolton, O., died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, in Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center at Cambridge, O.
Born Nov. 7, 1921, at Morgan County, O., she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Price) Dawson and the late Thomas Dawson.
Mary retired from Champion Spark Plug of Cambridge in 1986. She was a member of Clearfork Baptist Church and Friendship VII Sweet Adeline Chorus and Eureka Garden Club.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Mary will be remembered by all who knew her for her generous and loving heart. She always gave unconditional love and support to her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband, Vernon Beal, whom she married Feb. 28, 1943; four sons, David Beal and wife Carol, Chuck Beal and wife Susan and Don Beal, all of Kimbolton, Tom Beal and wife Betty of Freeport; 10 grandchildren, Michael Beal, Melanie Kohman and husband Jerry, Jason Beal and wife Amanda, Melissa Beal, Kim Beal, Amanda Lichtenwalter, Sharon Bryan and husband Rick, Brian Beal and wife Josephine, John Beal and wife Rebecca, Stacy Randulic; 24 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Clairene Dickerhoff of Strasburg, Margaret McFadden and husband Dean and Jane Ross, all of Bolivar, Grace Ross and husband Earl of Hot Springs Village, Ariz., Esther Norris of Beach City; two brothers, Charles W. Dawson and wife Betty of Beach City, Harold Dawson and wife Rose of Bolivar.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Dawson Jr.
A memorial service will be held in Clearfork Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, beginning at 1 p.m. Pastor Craig Murray will officiate. Visitation will be held in Clearfork Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, from 11 to 1 p.m.
