Pearl F. Craigo, 89, of 565 S. River St., Newcomerstown, O., died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, in Riverside Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at Newcomerstown, O.
She was born Feb. 3, 1919, in Oxford Township, Tuscarawas County, O., to the late George and Zee (DeLong) Reidenbach. She graduated with the Newcomerstown High School Class of 1937 and worked for National Cash Register for 17 years. She attended the Church of Christ of Newcomerstown.
On Aug. 23, 1941, she married Denver C. Craigo, who died in 1969.
Surviving are one daughter, Rhea Havey and husband, David, of Crystal Lake, Ill.; one son, David Craigo of Newcomerstown; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Hertel Reidenbach; four sisters, Mae Taylor, Irene Cryder, Lucille Loader and Marjorie Reidenbach; and two stepchildren, Lloyd Craigo and Deloris Schmidt Craigo.
Private family graveside services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, beginning at 11 a.m. in East State Street Cemetery at Newcomerstown with Charles Newell officiating. There are no calling hours.
