Charmagne B. Berger, 71, of 176 Sawmill Rd., Newcomerstown, O., died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, in Akron City Hospital at Akron, O.
She was born Feb. 14, 1937, at Brooks County, W.Va., to the late Mary Davis.
Charmagne was a housewife and a member of West Union Methodist Church at Gilmore. She enjoyed riding horses and was a member of Muskingum Horse Assn. and Newcomerstown Saddle Club. She also enjoyed hunting arrowheads and working with her husband, Loren.
On Feb. 21, 1953, she married Loren R. Berger, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Marge Kenney and husband Roy of Port Washington, Mary Anna Long of Gnadenhutten, and Susan Stocker and husband Jim of Port Washington; one son, Charles Berger and wife Cindy of Newcomerstown; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Loren T. Berger and Roger L. Berger; one granddaughter, Brittany Stocker; and one brother.
A private family service will be held at the home.
