| | | Charles Eugene Plants, 48, of 139 Nugent St., Newcomerstown, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 9, 1960, in Coshocton, to Jack and Jean McCleary Plants of Newcomerstown. He was formerly employed at Appalachian Geophysical Services of Millersburg and was a member of Valley View Baptist Church of Newcomerstown. He enjoyed fishing and building race cars.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a companion, Jane Davis; a daughter, Cynthia Mae Davis of Newcomerstown; a son, Charles Allen Plants of Newcomerstown; three sisters, Judy (Bill) Yahrling of Newcomerstown, Connie (Geoffrey) Anderson of Beaver, Pa., and Jodi (John) Bradford of Plainfield; two brothers, Harold Robert (Karen) Plants of Texas and Ronald Plants of Newcomerstown; several nieces and nephews; and his cat, Chass.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown.
