It is our commitment to provide the highest quality service to the families we work with. Our Community Room is one example. Catered luncheons are available with the option of hot or cold menus. Families may select to have their luncheon here if they do not have the availability of church fellowship hall, or for ease in planning. Our community room allows the opportunity for food and fellowship, to continue to share memories of their loved one. Many families have expressed their gratitude for this service, as it alleviates the worry of where to gather after the service.
The main area used is in the original section of the funeral home. This area is located upstairs, separate from the funeral chapels. This is a private area, where those gathered have the ability to relax and share quiet time before returning home. If a luncheon is needed for a larger family, we have the option of providing this as well. Luncheons for larger families can be accommodated on our main floor, with privacy being maintained.
Luncheons have been served from 25 people to 85 people. Our caterers will provide a complete hot meal, or sandwiches and salads. Families are welcome to bring desserts. Special menus can be arranged if time permits.
The main purpose of the Community Room is service and convenience to the family. By offering this alternative area, we are committed to making the whole funeral home experience as pleasant as possible.
